Responsibilities

1. Calibrate various sensors including optical, acoustic, and radar sensors used in UAVs and counter-UAV systems.
2. Develop and implement calibration procedures and standards to ensure precision and repeatability.
3. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of sensor systems to ensure optimal performance.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate sensors into drone systems and enhance data acquisition and analysis capabilities.
5. Analyze calibration data and prepare detailed reports on sensor performance and anomalies.
6. Stay updated with the latest developments in sensor technology and calibration techniques.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sensor calibration, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Strong understanding of optical, acoustic, and radar sensor technologies.
• Proficiency in using calibration software and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with UAVs or aerial systems.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques for data analysis.
• Background in developing SOPs for equipment calibration.
