Service Engineer (brake test equipment)

On behalf of a client company, a global leader in the development and production of mobile and fixed testing systems as well as testing services for the automotive industry, we are seeking an experienced Service Engineer/Technician for its German branch based in Limburg an der Lahn (Hessen) in hybrid mode.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, maintenance, and independent calibration of brake test benches and other test bench systems;
• Performing preventive inspections and machine maintenance in accordance with the approved operating process;
• Failure analysis and qualified electronic repairs;
• Customer support for installed test benches;
• Supporting product development by providing feedback to the product management team regarding any technical issues;
• Creating documentation relating to commissioning activities and repairs performed;
• Performing international assignments at customer sites.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a comparable role, knowledge of brake systems will be considered a plus;
• Qualified experience as an electrical engineer or similar in the equipment sector;
• Full proficiency in German and fluency in English;
• Full proficiency in MS Office;
• Service-oriented approach and corresponding work ethic;
• Strong teamwork skills;
• Availability to travel within Germany and to other EU countries.
