Service Engineer – Port Machinery (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform commissioning, maintenance, and repair work on telescopic handlers, material handlers, and other heavy port equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and internal teams via on-site visits, phone, or email.
• Prepare service reports, documentation, and feedback for continuous product improvement.
• Train customers and partners in equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the engineering and product support teams to enhance service quality and product reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all service activities.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering.
• Proven experience in servicing heavy machinery, preferably in the construction or port equipment sector.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally within Europe.
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
