Freelancer Briefing – Backend Audit, API Integration & Live Consulting


Project Overview
We are running several SaaS/web applications (2–3 projects) that integrate external data streams from tools such as Replit, Bold, and other third-party services.

The main goal is to:
• Audit and review the current technical setup (Supabase, GitHub, APIs).
• Verify if all connections are working correctly.
• Identify potential issues, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Provide live consulting support via Google Meet to guide us through backend logic and adjustments.

We already have documentation and Supabase database structures in place. Now we are looking for an experienced backend/API developer who can support us in both consulting and hands-on implementation.


Scope of Work
🔎 1. System Audit & Review
• Review current project setups (2–3 applications).
• Verify connections between Supabase, APIs, GitHub, and external tools.
• Identify errors, bottlenecks, and risks.

🗄️ 2. Supabase & PostgreSQL
• Review and optimize database architecture (tables, policies, permissions).
• Check authentication flows and API key management.
• Suggest improvements for data integrity and scalability.

⚙️ 3. GitHub & Deployment
• Audit existing GitHub repositories.
• Set up/optimize GitHub Workflows (CI/CD pipelines).
• Establish best practices for branching and deployments.

🌐 4. API Review & Debugging
• Audit existing RESTful API requests between a Custom GPT agent and the app.
• Debug, test, and optimize request flows.
• Improve API development for performance, rate limiting, and security.

🎓 5. Consulting & Live Support
• Join Google Meet sessions to review logic and guide live adjustments.
• Support in troubleshooting and hands-on fixes during calls.
• Provide a clear roadmap & documentation after sessions.


Required Skills
✅ API Integration / RESTful API / API Development
✅ Python (for scripts and connectors)
✅ PostgreSQL / Supabase (database design, access policies, optimization)
✅ Back-End Development (logic, scalability, best practices)
✅ Git & GitHub Workflows (CI/CD, branching, deployment pipelines)
✅ Strong consulting & communication skills (able to explain complex logic clearly in live sessions)


Deliverables

• Audit reports for each project (2–3 total).
• Verified and optimized Supabase + API setup.
• Documented GitHub workflows and deployment pipelines.
• Live consulting sessions with clear explanations and actionable results.
• Recommendations & roadmap for long-term improvements.

Collaboration: Fully remote.
Communication: Slack & Google Meet.
Payment: Hourly consulting rate or milestone-based (to be agreed).
