Introduction
We’re planning on building a sports statistics website - for reference something like https://www.transfermarkt.com/


Expertise Needed
For the ideas we have in mind, we’re looking for an expert with Advanced Custom Fields who might also be able to later create additional functionality, integrate with other systems etc.


Deliverable
For now, to have a solid base and to get a feel how familiar the candidate is, we’re looking for a base set up plan in written form (google / word document) and if you want to of course you can also provide an additional video walking through the setup (not mandatory). to be clear: no development or website setup on our end needs to be done, we’re just looking for someone who’s providing a plan.


Site Needs
The plan should consider the following needs for the site:
• Clubs
  With information like address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, different social media accounts, contact person, website URL, online shop (merch) URL, ticket shop URL, logo…


• Teams
  With assigned players, staff and leagues, team image


• Players / Staff
  Details like name, birthday, nationality, trikot number, height, weight, social media accounts, position, assigned teams, profile picture...


• Leagues
  With assigned teams, details about the competition, logo etc.


Historical Data
The setup should have in mind that things change every year (season) and that a history should be available and that we’re not duplicating things every year. So players join other teams, teams play in different competitions and many more changes…


Referencing Elements
Next to the setup there should be a consistent way to reference these elements (club, player, team…) in wordpress posts / pages. Example: In a post that talks about club A and club B there should be a way to insert a “card” (block) referencing the club (card could be the logo of the club and the name next to it) or team or player with a consistent layout.


Project Scope
Now obviously if you check the website referenced, you get a picture that what we’re describing here is very, very basic in comparison. That’s intentional - at this point we simply want to see who could fit a long-term project but without a large time commitment for both you and us.
