As part of our international and experienced team, you will have the opportunity to work as a Ship IT Coordinator in a cooperative and supportive environment. We offer a varied and interesting position in our internal IT department. As Ship IT Coordinator, you will coordinate all IT services for our managed fleet.

Responsibilities

• You will provide first and second level IT support for our ships in the Netherlands, Germany, and other European ports.
• You will solve hardware, software, and connection problems both remotely and on board.
• You will act as an important point of contact for the ship crews and be in regular contact with external IT suppliers and service providers.
• You will be responsible for managing the procurement and inventory of IT equipment.
• You will be part of a rotating support roster, which also includes occasional evening or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in information technology or a related field.
• You work independently, but are also a reliable team player and have very good communication skills in English – German skills are an advantage.
• Frequent travel within Europe is no problem for you, and you have a valid class B driver's license. You also have a valid work permit for Germany and live in the Cologne area.
