Project Goal:

I need a developer to update my existing Shopify app to automate social media metric retrieval. The app displays metrics like follower counts on online stores.


Scope of Work:


• Create new accounts for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, and YouTube using provided email login.
• Set up API keys for each platform after account creation.
• Contact me if payment details are needed for API usage.
• Integrate API keys into the Shopify app backend.
• For each profile, allow manual input or API connection.
• If API is selected, user connects account and fills missing fields manually.
• Set up a cron job to fetch API data every 24 hours.
• Implement error handling if User select API conncetion but not connect the Profile.
• Enforce plan limits when storing fetched values (followers, likes, posts, etc.).
• If limits are reached, flag the account and show upgrade message in dashboard.
• Improve design of the admin dashboard UI.
• Update database to store API keys and related flags in a new model without overwriting existing user data.
• Ensure smooth migration for current users without data loss.
• Verify secure access to Database


Technical Requirements:


• Experienced with API integration and automation tasks.
• Proficient in Remix, TypeScript, and Prisma.
• Familiar with Shopify app development.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their APIs.

TypeScript, JS, Prisma-DB, Shopify-Remix-App
