Job Description

We are running a Shopify store (Grow Plan, not Plus) and would like to implement a very specific feature:

Apply an automatic 1% discount (Skonto) when the customer chooses Bank Transfer (manual payment method) during checkout.
This should only apply to this payment method, not to others.



Requirements

Ideally, the solution should be seamless, stable, and not interfere with the Shopify checkout flow.

We are aware that Shopify currently keeps the checkout fairly closed compared to WooCommerce (where this is possible via plugins like Payment Gateway Based Fees and Discounts for WooCommerce Pro).

That’s why we are looking for a Shopify expert or developer who already has experience with similar customizations and knows if there are:
• Workarounds (apps, custom scripts, checkout extensibility, Flow, etc.), or
• Confirmed limitations we should be aware of.
We are not on Shopify Plus, so checkout.liquid is not available.
