Simulation Software Engineer Visualisation (f/m/d) for Airbus

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space, we are looking for a Simulation Software Engineer Visualisation (m/f/d) in temporary employment as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Derive system requirements or user stories from operational requirements for new functionalities of Engineering and Training Simulation systems or subsystems.
• Design architecture of software modules for new simulator functionalities (specifically for a new Visual Interface).
• Develop Visual Interface components and plugins (mainly C++).
• Create and perform unit tests of software modules.
• Create tools for improving our development processes (e.g. code generators).
• Integrate the developed components with the overall Simulator systems and Image Generator software.
• Create test cases and perform integration testing.
• Documentation of the appropriate software modules.
• Module responsibility for dedicated subsystems.

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, aerospace or a comparable qualification.
• More than three years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Aeronautical background and/or experience with simulators, synthetic environments and/or visual systems (Image Generators) would be a plus.
• Knowledge about agile Development Methodologies desired.
• Good knowledge of Python and Matlab.
• Knowledge of C++ is required.
• Fluent in English.
• German and/or Spanish skills are beneficial.
