Responsibilities

• Independent design, implementation, and analysis of crash simulations to evaluate the short-term dynamics of modern power tools
• Close cooperation with the measurement technology, testing, and design departments to validate and verify the developed simulation models
• Active participation in the optimization of existing simulation processes and the establishment of innovative modeling approaches
• Technical exchange in interdisciplinary project teams with a focus on design, drive technology, and experimental validation in a cooperative team culture
• Driving force for technological innovations and future-oriented development projects in the power tools portfolio
• Completed university degree (diploma, master's, doctorate) in mechanical engineering or related engineering disciplines with a focus on numerical simulation or model-based engineering
• Extensive practical experience in FEM-based analysis of transient problems, including nonlinear geometry and material behavior, as well as fatigue calculation
• In-depth expertise in crash simulation with mastery of sophisticated material laws in LS-Dyna or equivalent simulation environments
• Proficiency in the ANSA/META pre- and post-processing software is desirable
• Substantial professional experience in technical development and project management over several years
• Proficiency in the calibration and validation of numerical models by comparison with experimental measurement data
• A strong talent for the systematic and solution-focused handling of technical challenges
• Convincing analytical and strategic skills combined with independent, goal-oriented work organization
• Strong collaboration and communication skills as well as confident English skills for international cooperation
• Open-mindedness towards innovation and genuine interest in advanced tool technologies
