SRI is seeking committed and passionate professionals to provide critical Site Contract Staff Supervision Services to the Navy’s Fleet and Family Support Programs (FFSPs) designed to maximize the well-being of active duty, retirees, civilians (OCONUS) and their families.
Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Contract Staff Supervisor to lead and manage our team at a designated site. This pivotal role involves overseeing social service programs, participating in emergency preparedness and response activities, and ensuring that staff are effectively supervised and supported. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social sciences, proven experience in program management, and a passion for guiding a team dedicated to serving military families. Tasks and Responsibilities : As the Site Contract Staff Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of social service programs at your site, supervising staff, and ensuring that all tasks are carried out in alignment with established guidelines. You will also play a critical role in emergency preparedness and response, participating in exercises, facilitating public awareness campaigns, and implementing emergency response plans when necessary. Your ability to lead a team, communicate effectively, and maintain high standards of service delivery will be key to your success in this role.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the performance of staff providing social services at the designated site.
- Participate in emergency response exercises as directed by the Region, Installation, or Family Fleet and Support Program (FFSP).
- Facilitate FFSP participation in public awareness campaigns, including Ready Navy.
- Implement emergency response plans in the event of actual humanitarian response situations.
- Execute responsibilities related to the Emergency Family Assistance Center during emergency situations.
- Ensure that all services related to Emergency Preparedness and Response are documented accurately in the Family Fleet and Support Management Information System (FFSMIS).
- Prepare and conduct management briefings to communicate recommendations on training and exercises.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide a team of social service staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and comply with program guidelines.
- Provide ongoing supervision, support, and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

Required Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field, OR a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree, OR four years of equivalent experience in a social science or related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience managing social service programs, including staff supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in emergency preparedness and response activities.
- Strong understanding of social service program management and staff supervision best practices.
