I’m currently supporting a major international client involved in the delivery of large-scale data center projects across Germany. We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager (Bauleiter) to oversee electrical and mechanical (MEP) activities on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all electrical and mechanical subcontractors on-site
• Ensure works are delivered safely, to specification, and in line with project schedules
• Oversee daily site operations, reporting, and documentation (progress updates, system handovers, etc.)
• Serve as the link between site teams, engineering, and client representatives
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover in accordance with project milestones

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager on data centers, industrial plants, or other complex technical projects
• Strong understanding of MEP systems (electrical and/or mechanical)
• Good knowledge of German construction regulations and site standards
• Confident using documentation and reporting tools (MS Office or similar)
• EU passport or valid German work/residence permit
• Prior data center project experience is preferred, though candidates from oil & gas, or process industry projects will also be considered
