Requirements
- Certification from a recognized soccer governing body such as FIFA or U.S. Soccer Federation
- Experience officiating recreational or competitive soccer matches
- Knowledge of FIFA Laws of the Game (current edition)
- Physical fitness and ability to cover the field effectively
- Strong decision‑making and conflict‑resolution skills
Duties
- Serve as center referee or line judge during soccer matches and tournaments
- Ensure all matches are played safely and according to FIFA rules
- Make impartial calls on fouls, offsides, and scoring decisions
- Report scores, player conduct, and any incidents to the SPM after each event
- Postpone games in case of lightning, unsafe field conditions, or poor visibility
