Job Description

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Social Content Manager to join our Emmy Award-winning team, working alongside one of our partners - a leading global streaming service.

You will create social media content on this key account with the help of a team of integrated producers, content managers, editors and designers. Reporting to the Social Content Director. You will be part remote and part based in our Berlin office in Germany with some occasional evening and weekend work when required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Help develop the social media presence for our client, growing reach and engagement for their social channels with excellent creative and strategy.
• Support the creation and management of content calendars for both paid and organic assets, and create copy with oversight from the team. Work with social designers on the creation of assets, collaboratively reviewing and approving with clients, and build and manage communities around a well-loved global brand.
• Support the creative brainstorming, community management, social copywriting, scriptwriting, short and long‑form copywriting and reporting, all overseen and signed off by the project lead.
• Support social coverage for live events, marketing and junket shoots, briefing and managing high‑profile entertainment talent.
• Work with the Creative Director to ensure content and ideas align with creative strategy and fit for purpose for this client.
• Stay up to date with new trends, behaviours and platform updates on social media and translate this knowledge to clients.
• Work with integrated production and client management teams to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery of briefs, following internal processes including timing plans, content calendars and wash‑up reports. (No financial accountability.)

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience working on social media.
• Fluent in English and German.
• German copywriting for social media and ability to adopt our client’s tone of voice.
• Understanding of platform business managers and social media tools, i.e. Meta Business Manager and Sprinklr.
• Experience creating content for social media: static assets, short and long‑form video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIFs, memes.
• Experience working with talent on photo and video production shoots (within a marketing shoot or junket environment).
• Experience running paid media campaigns – working with media agencies, understanding media goals and paid creative best practices.
• Experience covering live events.
• Experience in the entertainment industry.
