two ten eight is a social media and e-commerce agency based in Munich and Shanghai. We have been helping European clients build a footprint in China for fifteen years. We are looking for a Munich-based social media editor (all genders) to join our team. The position is a part-time freelancer position with a commitment of ca. 10 hours per week and is available immediately.


THE ROLE


• Draft content plans in English and Chinese and amend these according to clients’ feedback as well as suitable topics in China
• Copywriting and localisation of content based on still images and texts on the clients’ websites and Western social media sites
• Search for relevant influencers and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
• Participate in campaign execution, monitoring and reporting
• Community management
• Work with the account manager to collect data for reporting
• Assist in the design of the yearly promotional plans
• Participate ad hoc projects, for example ideation for special campaigns, video shooting and editing for additional assets and attend certain events.


Qualifications


• Based in Munich and very familiar with destinations within and around the city
• Operation knowledge of Chinese social media platforms – esp. Rednote, Weibo and WeChat
• Some knowledge or interest about the Chinese travel, luxury and fashion industries
• Good understanding of emerging digital tools and a broad knowledge of the best digital practices
• Mother-tongue level Mandarin and fluent English are a must, German is a plus
