This part-time, remote role is ideal for a professional who can independently plan, schedule, and manage weekly social media content. You will play a key role in shaping the digital voice of a Cork-based company, collaborating with the team to highlight craftsmanship, engage local audiences, and drive brand awareness.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a weekly social media content calendar tailored to the carpentry sector
Create, schedule, and publish engaging posts across relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram)
Coordinate with the team to gather project updates, photos, and stories for content
Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and foster community interaction
Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach and engagement
Stay updated on social media trends and best practices relevant to the construction and home improvement industries

Skills And Requirements

Proven experience managing social media for small businesses or within the trades sector
Strong copywriting and visual content creation skills
Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite)
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams
Understanding of audience engagement strategies and analytics
Knowledge of the Irish market and local trends is a plus
Availability for part-time, remote work (approx. one day per week)
