The Opportunity: USEUCOM is standing up a modeling, simulation, and analytics program to produce and integrate operational modeling, simulation, and data analytics in support of Joint, Combined, and Coalition operations, planning, and decision making. This program will leverage digital technologies and analytic methodologies to inform planning, exercises, experiments, and wargames through models, simulations, and analytics of current and alternative operational environments. You will learn probable adversary actions and reactions and understand the possible impacts to U.S., Alliance, and partner forces’ ability to operate in the USEUCOM AOR.

Role: Software Developer

As a Software Developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches, frameworks, and tools to deliver solutions. You’ll help our team and our client produce mission-relevant software applications to enable advanced simulations and integrate various software systems within a bespoke cloud environment. You’ll work with a team of modeling and simulation engineers and data scientists to create custom tools and applications with consistent performance and scalability. In this role, you’ll make a mission-focused impact as you further your skill set and career.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with software development, including using C, C++, or Python
• Experience building software plugins
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Experience deploying in a cloud environment, including AWS
• Experience with containerized applications, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools, including Jenkins
• Experience developing with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Agile development and tools, including JIRA
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting the IC and DoD
• Experience supporting modeling and simulation efforts, including AFSIM
• Experience integrating software with Large Language Models (LLMs) or other generative AI capabilities
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAGs)
• Security+ Certification

The posting notes that the estimated compensation range is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
