Software Developer (Java) (f/m/d)

Overview

Successfully completed IT vocational training, e.g. as an IT specialist (f/m/d). Strong interest in Java/JEE and IT or DevOps. Practical experience in API development (e.g. REST APIs). Experience in agile project management. Proven ability to work in a team, strong communication skills as well as a sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• New and continued development of an extensive backend infrastructure (from conception to implementation).
• Supporting the application operation of the developed software and systems (long-term maintenance & monitoring).
• Close cooperation and communication with areas of the customer (product owner, user experience team, client developers).
• Joining a dedicated project team.
• Personal responsibility and freedom for own initiatives, flat hierarchies.

Requirements

• Completed IT vocational training, e.g. as an IT specialist (f/m/d).
• Strong interest in Java/JEE and IT or DevOps.
• Practical experience in API development (e.g. REST APIs).
• Experience in agile project management.
• Proven ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and a sense of responsibility.
• Commitment, flexibility and willingness to take responsibility for deployment and operations.
• Development experience with Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes technologies is beneficial.
• Good German and basic English skills.
