YOUR TASKS
In our Energy Management department, you will contribute to the development of digital control systems for DC/DC converters and On-Board Chargers (OBC). As part of a dynamic team of experts, you will develop software for a control unit. The technologies used have high growth potential in the field of e-mobility, supported by a broad customer base of OEMs.

• Development of digital control systems for DC/DC converters and On-Board Chargers (OBC)
• Design and implementation of digital control systems for power electronics components
• Application of Model-Based Development (MBD) for model-based design, simulation, and verification of control concepts
• Integration and optimization of Power Factor Correction (PFC) algorithms
• Programming of software functions in C including the corresponding documentation
• Commissioning and validation of control structures on the actual system and microcontroller
• Working as part of an experienced control engineering team on-site in Lippstadt (50% mobile working per week possible), in close collaboration with hardware development

Your Qualifications

• Completed technical degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience (> 5 years) in the development and optimization of digital control systems
• Solid knowledge in the design of control systems for On-Board Chargers and PFC
• Experience with Model-Based Development, ideally using MATLAB/Simulink and code generation tools (e.g., TargetLink, Embedded Coder)
• Experience in embedded software development (e.g., in C/C++)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Desirable: experience in power electronics and circuit design
• Motivation and enthusiasm for personal and product development
• Very good German and English skills
