Responsibilities

• Completion of outstanding software development tasks related to Siemens PLC and WinCC Unified systems.
• Understanding and adapting new Siemens HMI hardware based on WinCC Unified.
• Evaluation of existing development work and estimation of timeframes for the remaining tasks.
• Collaboration with internal teams to integrate automation solutions for high-volume assembly machines.

Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens WinCC Unified and the migration from older WinCC versions.
• Familiarity with Siemens PLC programming, in particular the upgrade from V17 to V19 using object-oriented approaches.
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with and evaluate existing projects.
• Knowledge of German is essential
• Experience in the automation of series production (not necessarily CAM or machining).
• Experience with CAM machines is an advantage but not required.
• Independent working style and ability to provide realistic time estimates for tasks.
