Software Engineer - Embedded Flash Algorithms

Your Responsibilities

Develop efficient driver software for programming integrated Flash memory on embedded microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and external memory components such as NOR Flash and SPI Flash
Contribute to the design and further development of high-performance, industry-recognized embedded tools and products
Apply company development standards across all phases – from concept and specification to implementation
Support customers with technical inquiries and prepare documentation such as user manuals and application notes
Review, maintain, and optimize the existing Flash algorithm codebase
Adapt Flash algorithms to customer-specific requirements and integrate these updates into the company’s generic software framework
Design and execute test scenarios for Flash algorithms
Conduct performance, benchmark, and stress testing to ensure the highest software quality standards

Your Profile

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
Passion for embedded computing systems, particularly Flash memory programming and driver development
Hands‑on experience with microcontrollers
Strong knowledge of C or C++ programming

Ideally, you also bring

Familiarity with embedded development tools or similar software environments
Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
High motivation, reliability, and sense of ownership
Curiosity for new technologies and interest in working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
Very good German and solid English language skills
