Software /Hardware Applications Engineer (S/W – H/W Co-Design)

Overview
This leading semiconductor company urgently seeks a customer facing Application Engineer – Technical Support to be based at their R+D Centre in Munich. The Application Engineer – Technical Support will be working as part of a small, high calibre, team supporting bare-metal hardware and software co-design projects and products. This will include supporting customers and partners worldwide for high-resolution real-time video and audio channels aimed at the automotive market. The Application Engineer – Technical Support will be working closely with the hardware / software codesign teams.

Requirements
You will have completed your degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or similar and have several years of experience supporting customers and colleagues solving complex electronic problems preferably in a hardware / software co-design environment. You will have some experience with FPGAs, Microcontrollers, software, Python, C and C++. Any experience with embedded Linux, HW / SW co-design, video / communication protocols (DisplayPort, HDMI, SPI, I2C) and automotive projects would be beneficial. Candidates need to be fully authorised to work in the EU and need to speak fluent German and English.
