About the Role - At duagon we focus on highly regulated markets and our customers expect bleeding-edge technology of the highest quality supporting the typically long lifecycles. As a Software Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to guide the development of our Embedded Linux software stack, shaping innovative solutions that meet the critical needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Embedded Linux software stack, including mainline and LTS Linux decisions.
• Develop and maintain a detailed roadmap aligned with customer feedback, market needs, and business objectives.
• Actively engage with customers to gather insights, understand pain points, and ensure their needs are addressed in the product offering.
• Conduct regular analyses to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring the roadmap remains competitive.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of features.
• Ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a pertinent technical discipline. Equivalent hands-on experience is also highly valued.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in software product management.
• Strong understanding of Embedded Linux, the open-source community, mainline upstream/downstream decisions, and LTS strategy.
• Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that exceed their expectations.
• Exceptional communication prowess, a customer-first mindset, teamwork spirit, and standout personal impact.
• A natural at organized, self-sufficient, forward-thinking work strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in embedded computing, IoT, and related areas.
• Proficiency in German and English – you'll be conversing and writing with clarity and confidence.
