A small but fast growing SaaS SME based in Munich are looking for an experienced Software Leader to join their team, to focus on R&D activities or future SaaS products.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of innovative SaaS products leveraging state-of-the-art technology, AI, and robust architecture.
• Lead and inspire the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
• Make strategic architectural and technology decisions in close collaboration with your team.
• Integrate AI solutions to deliver impactful business use cases.
• Enhance and evolve our SaaS platform by adding features, fixing bugs, and refactoring legacy code at high velocity.
• Contribute to requirement analysis and solution design with fresh, practical ideas.
• Deliver clean, maintainable, and high-quality code you’re proud of.
• Work in an agile Scrum environment, collaborating closely with Product Management to translate product strategy into a winning solution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Proven track record in developing SaaS applications.
• Hands-on experience applying AI to business data and use cases.
• Strong leadership mindset and ambition.
• Proficiency in C# / .NET, relational databases, and SQL.
• Highly self-organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Experience in agile/Scrum software engineering practices.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German fluency is a plus.
• Formal education in IT/software development is an advantage.
• Additional plus: Experience with Angular, Azure DevOps.
