What you'll do

• Engage proactively in quality assurance activities during the entire Software Development Life Cycle within an agile and cross‑functional team.
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, architects, and product owners.
• Design, plan, implement, execute, and document manual and automated tests, and evaluate test results.
• Drive the existing test automation framework on an operational and development level to ensure defined quality requirements and standards.
• Contribute to the improvement of test processes, tools, and the test automation strategy.
• Participate in cross‑product initiatives to support company‑wide best practices, such as CI/CD integration, test automation, or monitoring/analysis.

What you’ll need

• University degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent; career changers with passion for IT are also welcome.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable position.
• Solid experience in manual and automated testing of backend applications, considering both functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Strong commitment to automated testing.
• Hands‑on experience with at least three of the following technologies/tools:
  • API‑Testing with frameworks such as ReadyAPI
  • Scripting/development with Python
  • Database management systems (SQL) and queuing systems (e.g., Kafka)
  • JMeter for performance and load testing
• Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working with teammates to deliver a high‑quality product.
• Creative thinking to devise efficient testing ideas.
• Professional level English communication; German is a plus.
