Tasks inspiring you

Architectural responsibility for the further development of our modular, cloud-native smart grid platform
Design and implementation of scalable microservice architectures using modern cloud technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, REST, ...)
Technical collaboration with feature teams in an agile environment (Scrum, DevOps)
Definition and maintenance of technical standards and architecture guidelines
Close collaboration with product management, requirements engineering, QA, project management and DevOps
Evaluation of new technologies, frameworks and methods in the context of edge computing, IoT, security and scalability
Support with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation (e.g. GitLab CI, Helm, ...). e.g. GitLab CI, Helm, Terraform)
Market- and customer-oriented development: monitoring and analyzing new regulatory requirements and technical guidelines and conceptual implementation of adequate solutions to ensure the competitiveness of our products

Qualifications that inspire us

Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
Strong understanding of mathematical principles and analytical techniques applicable to specialist domains within smart grid technologies (grid calculation, grid state determination, grid control), ideally experience in the design and development of algorithms
At least three to five years of experience in software architecture and development in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure or open source-based platforms) - ideally Google Cloud
In-depth understanding of modern backend and frontend technologies (e.g. Java, Go, TypeScript, Angular/React, Node.js)
Experience with API design, event-based communication and asynchronous processing (e.g. Kafka, MQTT)
Knowledge of building and operating containerized applications on Kubernetes
Affinity for DevOps culture and Infrastructure as Code
Communication and teamwork skills as well as very good German and good English skills
