Overview

Job Title: Solution Designer – EDM & Device Management

Location: Munich (onsite, 2 weeks) → Remote (1 week) → Frankfurt (onsite, 1 week)

Contract Duration: Until December 2026

Compensation: 18 EUR / hour reimbursement for onsite work at the client office

Language Requirement: German (minimum B2 level)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Designer with deep expertise in EDM (Energy Data Management) and Device Management to support our client in the energy industry. You will work closely with product owners, advise on solution design, and contribute to both functional and technical implementation within SAP IS-U / UC4G and OneBilling environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in the OneBilling platform with a focus on EDM & device management.
• Design EDM-related topics such as:
  • Device management
  • Meter reading & recording
  • Market communication (e.g., MSCONS)
• Create functional requirement specifications and designs for core processes.
• Support technical development, including sandbox setup and identifying customer-specific implementations.
• Advise and support the product owner on feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and complexity reduction of user stories.
• Collaborate in agile teams to deliver effective, scalable solutions.

Technical Skills Required

• Broad knowledge of energy industry processes.
• Strong expertise in energy sales processes (electricity / gas).
• Practical knowledge of SAP IS-U / UC4G.
• ABAP programming and SAP customization skills.
• Deep understanding of the SAP data model and master data implementation.
• Strong knowledge of market communication in sales, particularly MSCONS.
• (Optional) Experience in migration projects: data mapping, report-based setup, and data transformation specifications.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills (German at least B2).
• Quick comprehension and analytical mindset.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration in agile setups.
• Ability to advise stakeholders and influence solution design.
