Solution Engineer – Service Cloud

Salesforce is looking for a Solution Engineer to join our Service Cloud team based in Germany and Austria. The role involves leading discovery workshops, delivering technical solutions, and collaborating with sales to drive customer success.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and technical discussions with clients to gather needs and propose effective Service Cloud solutions.
• Deliver product, technical, and security-related responses on RFPs/RFIs.
• Build and present demos of Salesforce Service Cloud products, including solution concepts that demonstrate business value.
• Stay up-to-date on technology trends, Salesforce products, and sales programs.
• Own the solution side of the sales cycle.
• Participate in internal training and mentorship initiatives.
• Travel as needed within the DACH region.

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of customer business requirements in Service Cloud across multiple industries and the ability to translate them into a compelling vision.
• 5+ years of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training experience in a technology organization.
• Strong time‑management skills in a dynamic team environment.
• Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Existing Salesforce product knowledge and certifications are a plus.
• Deep understanding of AI, data, automation, Generative AI Strategy, and LLM-based autonomous agents.
