Your Future Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) in Azure within the Product Architecture & Enablement unit of the Sovereign Services & Delivery (SS&D) team. You will work on enabling Delos and France Bleu on Azure, collaborating with SAP product teams, technical managers, developers, security experts, and regional operators. Your responsibilities include deployment automation, product operations, deployment documentation, and supporting regional operations teams. You will also be involved in new build-outs and developing and integrating productive tools, gaining hands-on DevOps experience.

What You Bring

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or similar
• Professional experience in Cloud Delivery and related technologies
• Hands-on experience with Container Orchestration (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Monitoring and Logging (Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana)
• Good expertise with public cloud providers, especially Azure
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, architecture, and design
• Interest in Security topics
• Basic SAP product knowledge (e.g., BTP, SuccessFactors, SAP NetWeaver Basis, SAP S/4HANA PCE)
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, DroneCI, ArgoCD), and version control (Git, SVN)
• Leadership experience in teams or work streams
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python are a plus
• Decision-making, proactive attitude, analytical and conceptual skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, resilience, and fluency in English; German is a plus

Work Experience

• At least 5 years in Cloud Delivery fields
• Over 2 years in Automation
