Job Description

Skyworks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer for dry etching processes. This role drives process development and integration of dry etching for SAW device development. You will work with a multicultural and cross-functional team including Design, IT Support, Device, Process Experts and Operations, with the goal of applying innovative solutions from NPI to high-volume manufacturing. The R&D dry etching Engineer will be part of the SAW Technology R&D team and contribute to new etching technology development and the creation of new SAW device structures. Location: Osaka.

Responsibilities (English)

• Lead the development and implementation of dry etching processes, ensuring best performance and reliability.
• Take ownership of the equipment and processes in the dry etching field.
• Handle excursions, driving corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Apply statistical process control methods to establish and sustain a robust manufacturing process.
• Work cross-functionally to define device performance requirements and establish best practices according to product requirements.
• Evaluate new equipment and stay updated on industry innovations and state-of-the-art techniques.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering teams to transition from concept to high-volume manufacturing.

• 製品要求に基づくデバイス性能要件の定義およびベストプラクティスの確立に向けた他部門との連携
• 新規装置の評価および業界の最新技術・革新動向の把握
• 量産移行に向けた製造技術部門との連携

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science Physics, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in dry etching and the semiconductor industry.
• Specialist level understanding of dry etching related equipment.
• Expertise in SAW technology/process development or manufacturing is a plus
• Proficient in DoE (Design of Experiments), statistical process control, and analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both technical and interpersonal.
• Pragmatic and flexible attitude with a result- and data-driven can-do mentality.
• Ability to work autonomously, stay well-organized with high attention to detail, setting high standards in all work aspects.
• Excellent communication skills, professional level of written and verbal English.

応募資格

• 電気工学,化学,材料科学,物理学または関連分野における修士号または博士号
• ドライエッチングおよび半導体業界での8年以上の実務経験
• ドライエッチング関連装置に関する専門的知識
• SAW技術・プロセス開発または製造に関する経験があれば尚可
• 実験計画法(DoE)、統計的プロセス制御、各種解析ツールの習熟
• 優れた分析力・問題解決能力、技術面および対人面の両方
• 柔軟かつ実践的な姿勢、データドリブンで結果志向のマインドセット
• 自立して業務を遂行できる能力、細部への高い注意力と高い品質基準
• ビジネスレベルの英語力（読み書き・会話）と優れたコミュニケーション能力

勤務時間

8:30-17:00 (所定労働時間: 7時間45分 / 休憩時間: 45分). フレックスタイム制度あり

休日・休暇

年間休日: 127日 (2024年4月〜2025年3月). 完全週休二日制, 土日祝, 長期休暇あり（年末年始・ゴールデンウィーク）
