We’re growing rapidly across the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and Poland. We’re now looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to join our engineering enablement team in Berlin and help shape how we build and scale infrastructure across Oviva.
The Role
As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a central role in improving automation, standardisation, and operational excellence across our engineering teams. You will design and maintain the systems that enable teams to build, deploy, and monitor their services independently and securely. In this role, you will:
- Build and scale GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines with regulatory compliance in mind.
- Own our infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and champion GitOps.
- Apply SRE principles to drive uptime, resilience, and observability.
- Design infrastructure that’s robust, self-service, and cost-efficient.
- Collaborate across engineering to make devs faster, safer, and happier.
About You
Expertise in DevOps engineering, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD workflows.
Solid experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and monitoring tools like Prometheus.
Strong grasp of enabling developer self-service and resilient system design.
Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
