As a Staff Engineer at amber, you are more than just a developer. You are a technical leader who drives innovation and shapes the future of our products and engineering teams. In this role, you will work hands-on with complex software systems, define architectural direction, ensure scalability, and set new standards for code quality. Aufgaben

• Shape the technical foundation and architecture of products impacting thousands of users daily
• Evolve and scale our software systems to ensure long-term reliability, performance, and sustainability
• Guide engineering teams through complex technical decisions, providing clarity and enabling delivery
• Set standards for code quality, engineering best practices, and system performance organization-wide
• Mentor and inspire engineers, fostering growth, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to turn ideas into robust, user-centric solutions

Qualifikation

• Extensive experience in professional software engineering, leading complex initiatives and impactful projects
• Deep expertise in system architecture, scalable systems, and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend and backend technologies
• Proven track record guiding teams through technical trade-offs and architectural decisions
• Strong communication skills and effective cross-team collaboration
• Passion for continuous learning and fostering an innovative, sustainable engineering culture
