The Role
As a Staff iOS Engineer, you’ll be a strategic contribiutor within our cross-functional product squad, shaping the direction of our patient-facing mobile applications. You'll collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and engineering peers to craft new features that have a direct and positive impact on our users’ lives.
This expert-level role is ideal for a creative, technically astute iOS engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges, mentoring others, and driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.


Job requirements
We're seeking someone who brings both deep technical expertise and a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset. You’ll join a team that values clarity, autonomy, and doing the meaningful thing.
Essential Skills:
• Proven problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy
• Exceptional communicator, able to navigate complex discussions with technical and business stakeholders
• Team-centric leader who inspires collaboration and fosters a positive environment
• Deep experience in iOS app development and the full software lifecycle
• Knowledgeable in Apple’s release processes and iOS SDK architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, MVP)
• Expert in Swift and modern concurrency using Swift Concurrency and Combine
• Naturally curious about AI and emerging technologies and how they apply to iOS development
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development

Desirable:
Experience in writing higher-order tests: Integration, UI, and end-to-end testing


Job responsibilities
As a part of the team, you would:
• Build and maintain Oviva’s mobile apps by implementing new features and enhancing existing ones
• Collaborate on architecture, technical design, and security to ensure high-quality, scalable code
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve bugs to ensure lasting improvements
• Engage in product discovery, breaking down requirements into actionable technical tasks
• Take an active role in agile ceremonies—daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and OKR meetings
