The Consumer Group in Corporate Finance is seeking a Graduate Financial Analyst to join the Munich team as part of the Houlihan Lokey Graduate Class of 2026.
Responsibilities
- Work on corporate finance engagements for companies within the Consumer M&A advisory team based in Munich. The group’s engagements principally include sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions within the Consumer sector.
- Support the transaction team as a dedicated member, gaining broad exposure to issues affecting companies and investors today.
- Research and analyze financial statements, general economic conditions, industry-specific developments, acquisitions and divestitures, and investment attributes of publicly traded and private companies.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of capital raisings and financing structures.
- Collaborate with a collegial, entrepreneurial work environment and contribute to live engagements with substantial responsibilities and interaction with senior professionals.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both German and English; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or be in the final year of university (graduating Summer 2026).
- Available to start full-time employment no later than July 2026.
- Ideally 6+ months of internship experience in M&A, private equity, or other relevant industries.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail; understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
- Strong financial and computer skills; proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
