2nd Level Support Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (all genders)

As a dedicated Cloud SysOps Engineer (all genders) you are an important part of our team of SaaS and Cloud specialists. Your focus is on ensuring the stable and high-performance operation of our SaaS Financial Services solutions in the areas of network, orchestration and the entire infrastructure, in short “Run and Maintain”.

You will be responsible for analyzing, diagnosing and resolving complex technical faults in our hybrid cloud infrastructure.
You will be actively involved in the further development and optimization of our monitoring, logging and observability solutions
You will be involved in setting up and maintaining backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
Our service is provided at various times. As part of the team, you will regularly take on weekly shifts to ensure the availability of our systems.
You will create and maintain detailed knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides to improve self-service.
You will help optimize resource usage and cost control within the cloud environment.

What distinguishes you

Must Have

• You have completed training in system administration/integration or a degree in a comparable field and are currently working in this area.
• You have sound network know-how in the areas of TCP/IP, routing and basic network security.
• You have already gained experience with relevant AWS services
• You have very good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux as well as scripting (Bash, PowerShell etc.).
• You are characterized by self-responsible, proactive work and you actively contribute to solving problems and improving processes.
• You communicate fluently in German and English.

Nice To Have

• You have a certification comparable to the AWS SysOps Administrator.
• You have first contact with HashiCorp products such as Nomad and Consul.
• You have knowledge of observability with industry-standard tools, e.g. NewRelic.
• You have experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD concepts.
• You are characterized by analytical thinking and experience in finding solutions.
