A Full‑time Doctoral Researcher on Privacy‑Enhancing Technologies (w/m/d)

Location: Göttingen – University of Göttingen, Institute of Computer Science, Computer Security and Privacy group. Start: As soon as possible. Duration: 3 years.

Salary: Entgeltgruppe 13 TV‑L / 100 % (E13).

Qualifications

• Very good M.Sc. degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field
• Strong background in privacy and security
• Strong programming skills
• Ability to work independently, with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Very good command of English
• Strong motivation to pursue a doctoral degree and contribute to high‑impact interdisciplinary research

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research on privacy by designing and evaluating innovative privacy‑preserving solutions for pervasive applications
• Publish and present scientific results at international peer‑reviewed conferences and/or journals
• Supervise students in this area
• Active support in teaching activities in accordance with NHG and examinations
