One of our co-founders, Lukas, grew up in a trades family that has been active in the construction industry for over 115 years. Having worked on the construction site himself, he learned first-hand how slow and manual quoting still is in the industry.

As an
Account Executive
, you'll drive our growth by building trusted customer relationships.
In this role, you'll own your entire sales pipeline - from initial meeting to closing the deal - and help companies transform their productivity with AI. Your key focus will be to demonstrate the value of our product and guide potential customers through their evaluation journey.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
Qualify and close new customers
- Lead Generation:
Work closely with our prospecting team to ensure an optimal customer journey and proactively manage your own pipeline
- Customer Value:
Guide prospects through their evaluation process, build strong customer relationships and develop business cases that clearly demonstrate our product's value
- Sales Process:
Conduct demos, handle negotiations, and close deals while continuously improving our sales process
- Sales Strategy:
Design and implement new strategies to win key accounts and expand into new markets.
- Customer Feedback:
Gather and share customer insights with the engineering team to drive product innovation
- Organizational Development:
Build and train a high-performing sales team and scalable sales processes.

ABOUT THE INTERVIEW
Step 1: Intro call
Casual intro meeting with one of the founders to get to know each other and introduce Mercura.
Step 2: Practical exercise & role play
At Mercura, we value our applicants' time. That's why we compensate you with
€50
if we ask you to complete a take-home challenge.
Two practical exercises to showcase your skills, followed by calls to walk us through your approach, insights, and solution for the exercise. The calls will include role plays in which we simulate the interaction with a customer.
Step 3: Personal fit Interview
Meet another co-founder member to get a feel for our culture and working style.
Step 4: On-Site
Work alongside the entire team for a day on-site from our Munich office to fully immerse yourself in our culture and collaboration style. This on-site will be paid.
Step 5: Reference checks
Please provide 2–3 references so we can gather insights into your strengths and working style.
Step 6: Offer
If we see a great fit, you will get an offer, including a competitive compensation package.
