Account Executive - SMBs (m/f/d)

Job Description

Permanent contract In Frankfurt – on‑site or hybrid (2 days remote per week). All German-speaking roles target a native or C2 level in German and a C1/C2 level in English (listening, reading, speaking). The position contributes to Lucca’s expansion into Germany and is located in Frankfurt.

Your Role

Reporting to the Country Manager Germany, you will actively shape the go‑to‑market strategy, develop new leads with high potential and help establish us as a key player in the local market. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Business Tech and other Business Units.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Search for new business opportunities by leveraging your professional network, trade shows, conferences and networking events.
  • Develop high‑impact prospecting strategies on LinkedIn, positioning yourself as a trusted industry expert in the German market.
  • Identify, engage and qualify high‑potential opportunities from outbound initiatives and inbound leads in close collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Take full ownership of the end‑to‑end sales cycle while ensuring high client satisfaction:
    • Deeply understand the needs of our potential clients in Germany and obtain qualified appointments (physically or remotely).
    • Present our solutions and convince prospects of the added value.
    • Quote commercial offers, negotiate and close deals.
  • Use our CRM Salesforce and Marketing Automation tool Outreach rigorously.
  • Suggest new sales techniques, optimize our lead qualification strategy and processes.
  • Support the development of the German sales structure by sharing best practices and mentoring new team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in sales or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in full‑cycle sales in the German market, preferably in a SaaS or subscription model.
  • Knowledge of the HR domain would be great – we are happy to train otherwise.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to advocate the company internally and externally.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, able to recover quickly from setbacks.
  • Team spirit, intellectual curiosity and a positive attitude when working in an international team.
  • Native German speaker and fluent in English.

Recruitment Process (in German and in English)

  1. Phone interview with the Talent Acquisition Manager (45 min).
  2. Manager interview (60 min).
  3. Case study followed by an interview (60 min).
  4. Final talk (45 min).
