We are seeking a Partner Manager to drive the growth of externally produced content and services for high-volume e-commerce. In this role, you'll expand our production expertise by strengthening our partner network, ensuring long-term content success for Zalando. As an expert in Content Production & Services you will play a key role in shaping our future.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

Opportunity to take over a key role at Zalando, driving operational excellence and efficiency in content production with external partners to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions that maximize impact.

Drive Content Production Excellence: Own a key role in content production, focusing on operational excellence and efficiency with external partners to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions.
Strategic Partner Management: Closely collaborate with and manage external content partners and internal teams, ensuring high-quality content delivery, performance against SLAs/KPIs, and regulatory compliance.
Project Leadership & Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute daily operations (including testing/pilots), refine processes, handle essential project administration (SOWs, NDAs), and manage crisis situations effectively.
Process & Quality Optimization: Continuously monitor and evaluate partner performance (e.g., quality scores, time-to-online), streamline partner management processes, and contribute to the development of new framework contracts.
Contract & Risk Mitigation: Contribute to contract development and negotiate value-driven terms with procurement; ensure compliance with legal requirements and proactively mitigate risks associated with partnerships.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Act as a role model embodying Zalando's principles, providing guidance and mentorship to team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster a dynamic and effective work environment.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

Proven Partner Management Expertise: You have proven experience managing external partners for high-volume content production with a successful track record, ideally within an agency or brand/fashion retail environment.
Industry & Commercial Acumen: You possess in-depth industry knowledge of the content production value chain, combining a creative understanding with strong commercial acumen and access to a professional network.
Effective Relationship Building: You have solid communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain effective relationships with external partners and key internal stakeholders.
Strong Project Management: You can effectively leverage your project management skills to oversee multiple external partnerships and ensure the successful, on-time delivery of projects.
Analytical Problem-Solver: You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills that enable you to identify and implement process improvements for optimal partner management and value creation.
Dedicated Team Player: You are a dedicated team player who consistently strives for excellence in your work and communicates clearly and effectively.
