Account Manager Food & Beverage (m/f/d)

What You Will Do
- Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer plant operations, business objectives, and applicable government regulations
- Develop strategic work plans for completing sales targets and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment, and services
- Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, quality, and operations; including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and employee training
- Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory, and place orders
- Implement agreedâupon corporate account commitments and proactively inform Corporate Account Manager (CAM) of results, challenges, and initiatives
- Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks
- Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry or related field
- 2 years technical sales experience in meat, processed food, dairy, poultry, or beverage and brewing sector
- Valid Driverâs License with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Willingness and ability to travel by car throughout territory, including periodic overnight travel and occasional onâcall availability during offâwork hours and weekends
- Immigration sponsorship to work in the country is not available for this role
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to sell valueâadded products to customers
- Aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multiânational customers
- General mechanical ability
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
