Mission description

Safran Helicopter Engines Germany is a centre of excellence for helicopter engine innovation and a vital partner for mission‑critical customers. It is committed to sustainability and climate‑neutral operations at its Norderstedt facility.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable in cooperation with the local procurement department, including master data maintenance.
Provide financial support for internal travel management and prepare statistical reports.
Prepare VAT advance returns, EC sales lists and statistical reports.
Monitor and execute payment runs, and process and monitor internal controls and business‑related objectives.
Support the senior accountant in monthly reporting and tax‑related accounting activities.
Prepare data for annual financial statements andами tax returns.

Skills & Qualifications

Professional qualification as an accountant, tax consultant or similar role with strong financial knowledge and several years of experience.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, VAT reporting and compliance requirements.
Experience in financial reporting and support of monthly and annual closing activities.
Knowledge of German taxation, especially VAT, CIT and Trade Tax, is a plus.
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Fluency in both spoken and written English and German.
