Day-to-day with us

• Responsibility for general ledger accounting: You will be responsible for the general ledger accounting of our German company and ensure the correct recording of intercompany transactions between the parent company and the subsidiary.
• Coordination of financial statement preparation: You will actively coordinate and organise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, IFRS, and tax requirements.
• Preparation of accounting: You will play a central role in preparing and ensuring the proper recording of business transactions.
• Monitoring international processes: You will monitor and support international AR/AP transactions and contribute to optimising financial processes.
• Contact person for external stakeholders: You will act as contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
• Collaboration on projects: You will participate in projects to optimise processes and introduce a new accounting system.

Our ideal colleague

• Commercial training or degree in business administration, finance, accounting, taxation, or similar.
• Approx. 5 years of professional accounting or auditing experience.
• Confident with accounting software (DIAMANT or SAP a plus) and strong Excel skills.
• Friendly, precise, structured working style with strong numerical understanding.
• Quick learner, able to familiarise yourself with new responsibilities fast.
• Experience in corporate accounting and financial process digitisation is a plus.
• Professional level in German & English (mandatory); Spanish or French is a plus.
• You live in the Cologne area and enjoy working two days per week on‑site.
