Join us on a part‑time basis (19 hours per week), commencing as soon as possible as an Accountant Reinsurance Accounting and Payment Transactions . Responsibilities

• Processing and checking incoming reinsurance settlements
• Preparing outgoing reinsurance settlements, including determining the figures to be settled
• Current account processing of incoming and outgoing payments
• Processing and preparation of claims notifications including technical sanction checks
• Correspondence and coordination with internal and external customers worldwide
• Collaboration in working groups and projects for the digitalisation and further development of processes

Qualifications

• Experience in billing and current account processing, ideally of (re)insurance contracts
• Completed commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting or tax – alternatively, further training as a business administrator with a corresponding specialisation or a business degree
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office, in particular very good knowledge of Excel
• Very good knowledge of German at a business fluent level
• Good knowledge of English, which you can use confidently, especially in writing
• Strong understanding of financial interrelationships
• Independent and structured way of working with high quality standards
• Strong communication skills and enjoy working together and engaging in constructive dialogue in interdisciplinary teams
• Willingness and curiosity to familiarise yourself with new IT technologies and tools
