The Accounting Success Manager I will join a growing Customer Success team to support the mid-market customer base in our Close Management solution. The team maintains high levels of satisfaction and engagement among customers to ensure long-term success with the solution. Previous professional accounting or audit experience helps build rapport with mid-market customers by addressing accounting-specific questions and scenarios during the post-implementation phase to maximize adoption and enhance the client experience.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders (Controllers, Accounting Managers, CFOs, Business Systems/Operations, and IT) within mid-market accounts.
• Deliver consultative solutions: provide great customer service, product assistance, training, and tailored solutions to help clients achieve their close management and accounting operational goals.
• Drive engagement: respond to client inquiries, offer product training, and establish regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product/Engineering, Sales, Executive Leadership, and Professional Services to share insights based on client needs.
• Advocate for clients by providing product feedback to Product and Engineering to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Manage renewals in partnership with Account Management to support high retention and strong net retention quarterly results.
• Support growth initiatives by collaborating with Sales and Account Management to expand the pipeline and assist in closing new business or pilots.
• Ensure seamless onboarding by working with Professional Services for a smooth onboarding experience.
• Develop product expertise and stay up-to-date on latest features and functionality.
• Lead strategic meetings with clients to expand footprint, foster adoption, and mitigate churn.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies outlining goals, timelines, expansion plans, and engagement with all relevant teams; document product requests and status updates.
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results, net revenue retention).

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related fields.
• At least 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills applicable to daily scenarios.
• Strong listening, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• ACCA/CIMA related professional accounting certification.
• Prior experience with FloQast or other close management tools.
• Passion for ensuring customer satisfaction, driving adoption, and fostering long-term relationships.
