Accounting Team Lead (Eur 90-100k)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Accounting Team Lead to join a global technology leader within the sustainable energy sector. This role is ideally suited to professionals with strong accounting expertise and leadership experience within shared services, global business services, or multinational finance environments.

The successful candidate will lead cross-country finance operations across the DACH region, acting as a key finance interface to stakeholders while driving service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance with a strong focus on accounting and team leadership in an international environment
• Strong operational knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Management processes
• Experience within a Shared Service Centre or Global Business Services environment is highly advantageous
• Proficiency in SAP; exposure to S/4HANA and shared services finance templates is a plus
• Solid understanding of IFRS and local statutory accounting standards within at least one DACH country
• Proven leadership capability with experience managing teams, driving performance, and leading transformation initiatives
• Fluent in German and English, with strong stakeholder communication skills
