Our client, a reputable multinational firm based in Stuttgart, seeks an accounts payable accountant to join its shared service centre. The centre serves as a central management point for the entire DACH region. The role is full-time and operates on a hybrid model.

Accounts Payable Accountant Job Responsibilities:

• Processing incoming invoices and credits daily, including checking according to legal and internal guidelines.
• Handling accounting for intercompany transactions.
• Providing support with transfer pricing documentation.
• Digitally storing invoices following an electronic approval process.
• Posting invoices via the merchandise management system.
• Creating and maintaining creditor accounts.
• Supporting and participating in monthly and annual financial statements according to IFRS/HGB.

Candidate Profile:

• Completed commercial training or comparable qualifications with initial practical experience in accounts payable accounting.
• Strong affinity for numbers.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to work in an international team, high flexibility, self-motivation, endurance, and commitment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and process orientation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.Excellent command of German and English.
