Accounts Payable Team Lead – Location: Berlin

Our client is seeking an experienced leader to manage an Accounts Payable team and drive process and system improvements in a service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily AP operations and team initiatives.
• Design and optimize AP processes and workflows (e.g., Serrala, SAP).
• Increase invoice automation and processing efficiency.
• Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., aging, open items, discounts).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and shared service teams.
• Manage technical issues, support requests, and master data.
• Coordinate SAP enhancements, testing, and data maintenance.

Qualifications

• Strong AP and vendor invoice processing expertise.
• Proven leadership experience.
• High IT affinity; experience with SAP, VBA/macros.
• Skilled in process improvement and digital solutions.
• Structured, analytical, and service-oriented communicator.
• Fluent in German and English.
