Activity Leader and Language Immersion Specialist

Alpadia Language Schools (Kaplan International) offers immersive French and German programmes year‑round and summer courses forclauses. The mission is to encourage language development through immersion and broaden students’ horizons.

Job Description

You will lead engaging activities and excursions for international students, ensuring a safe, supportive, and meaningfully immersive environment. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include assisting with wake‑ups, bedtime, attendance checks, and SUN‑PROGRAM lead camp-wide evening sessions. You will work closely with other Activity Leaders and Teachers to create memorable, adventurous experiences that promote learning and personal growth.

Essential Qualifications

• Professional experience working with children or young people.
• German proficiency spoken B1‑B2 minimum and willingness to expand activity‑specific vocabulary for immersion.
• Fluency in English.
• High physical, mental and emotional resilience.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• High energy, excitement and ability to speak in front of large groups.
• Availability for at least five weeks in the summer season.

Desired Qualifications

• Fluency in German and English.
• Experience in outdoor education or summer camps.
• Driver’s licence and ability to drive a minivan.
• Availability for the entire summer season (June 20 – August 8) and for pre‑summer training (June 17‑20).
