We are looking for an Actuarial Graduate in Pricing Analytics to join our Allianz Commercial Graduate Program, based in Munich.

Our global Pricing Analytics team is seeking a Graduate to build strong data‑driven pricing models for all Lines of Business across Allianz Commercial. This person will need to collaborate internationally with various stakeholders, both within Global Pricing and across other Allianz Commercial functions, and will support strategic projects such as developing and driving data‑driven approaches to portfolio management.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct in‑depth analysis of pricing data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Assist in the creation and refinement of sophisticated pricing models using statistical software and programming languages such as Python and R, ensuring models are robust, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.
- Support the management and maintenance of large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for analysis, and collaborate with data engineering teams to streamline data processes.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for pricing strategies, analyze the impact of pricing changes on business performance, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate the potential impact of market changes on pricing strategies, and develop forecasts to anticipate future pricing needs and opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations that communicate complex analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Work closely with underwriting, actuarial, and sales teams to ensure pricing strategies are informed by a holistic understanding of business needs and market dynamics.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in pricing analytics and insurance industry trends, and contribute to the innovation of pricing methodologies and tools.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Completion of a bachelor’s university degree by September 2026 in a quantitative discipline, preferably with significant emphasis on statistical modelling or machine learning.
- Knowledge of P&C insurance and pricing techniques.
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office and VBA (recommended).
- Quantitative financial and risk modelling skills (i.e., data analysis).
- A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business.
- Able to adapt and work effectively in different situations and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pro‑active and positive attitude toward teamwork, able to assist others and take on responsibilities.
- A curious and creative mindset, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm to own and drive personal development.
- Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, analyze data in detail, draw appropriate conclusions, and present solutions.
- Good computer skills, including MS/Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English language skills.
