- perform risk analyses for complex components and evaluate supplier feasibility
- plan, manage and monitor APQP processes for purchased components from development phase to series release and assess PPAP / PPF documentation including at supplier
- update, coordinate and document the APQP status for project managers and project reviews and initiate escalations when required
- analyse deviations using structured root-cause methods and follow through on defined actions
- ensure compliance with the product development process (PEP) and all relevant quality requirements

- hold a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study (Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor appreciated)
- apply solid knowledge of quality methods such as APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP and SPC
- handle production and project management processes with confidence
- assess supplier processes as well as component and tolerance requirements according to relevant standards and OEM specifications
- communicate confidently in English
